Monsignor Louis A. Marucci was born in Philadelphia. In 1978 at the age of eighteen, he began his studies for the priesthood and was ordained in May 1987. Msgr. Marucci has earned three Masters Degrees and a Doctorate. He holds a Master of Dviinity Degree in Pastoral Theology, A Master of Arts Degree in Medical Moral Theology, a Master of Arts degree in Philanthopy and Development, and the Doctorate of Ministry, specializing in Bio-Medical Ethics, specifically end of life issues. Msgr. Marucci is currently matriculating towards a fourth Masters degree at Villanova University, the Master of Science in Church Management. After serving at a parish and as Vocation Promotion Director for the Diocese of Camden, he was appointed Director of Vocations for the Diocese. In October 1999 he was appointed the Director of Development for the Diocese. In April 2000 he was named "Chaplain of His Holiness" with the title "Reverend Monsignor" by the Holy Father. Msgr. Marucci was appointed Pastor of St. Vincent Pallotti Parish in January 2002.
