"Taking into account that God's kingdom has already been established, and that Christ's followers are called to manifest and work for the fuller realization of that kingdom in all areas of life," (NCD 29), St. Vincent Pallotti, through its Religious Education center, seeks to make a person's "faith become living, conscious, and active, through the light of instruction."
Recognizing Religious Education as a lifelong process as stated in the U.S. Bishop's Pastoral "To Teach As Jesus Did," St. Vincent Pallotti seeks to bring culmination in adulthood, a people constantly striving for conversion and renewal, maturity of faith, and knowing the mystery of salvation, revealed in Christ, and witnesses to the fact in human history (NCD 33).

Continuing Christian Faith Development of the person through a personal relationship with Jesus through Sacred Scripture and Sacrament.

Real Learning: Embodies three activities leading to Christian faith formation of the person: BELIEVING, TRUSTING, and DOING.
Attitudes/Values: Sees the simple acquisition of facts as secondary to the development of attitudes and values which shape the person's life.
Understanding: Leads the person to the realization of his/her own dignity and worth, knowing he/she is loved by God.
Message Discovered: Presents the real Christ to the person so that he/she can say YES to Him freely. The person is aware that God is here and now.
Life Style: Professes a unity between what the person believes and how the person lives.
Moral Maturity: Christianizes all dimensions of the person's life.
Witness: Doing for others as Jesus did; using one's gifts in the service of others; promoting justice and peace in the world.

2. St. Vincent Pallotti requires Catechists to take the Diocesan Catechist Formation and Certification Course and to continue to update themselves through In-Service Teacher Enrichment programs and workshops.
3. All Catechists are finger printed and CAP certified (child assault prevent) to assurea safe ensurement for all children.
