"Taking into account that God's kingdom has already been established, and that
Christ's followers are called to manifest and work for the fuller realization of
that kingdom in all areas of life," (NCD 29), St. Vincent Pallotti, through its
Religious Education center, seeks to make a person's "faith become living,
conscious, and active, through the light of instruction."
Recognizing Religious Education as a lifelong process as stated in the U.S. Bishop's Pastoral "To Teach As Jesus Did," St. Vincent Pallotti seeks to bring culmination in adulthood, a people constantly striving for conversion and renewal, mature of faith, knowing the mystery of salvation revealed in Christ and witnesses to the fact in human history (NCD 33).

Catechist Formation and Certification
1. Because Catechists approach their task with varying degrees of competence, the Camden Diocese provides a Catechist Formation and Certification Program, consisting of basic orientation and preparation, including instruction in theology, scripture, and catechetical techniques.
2. St. Vincent Pallotti requires Catechists to take the Diocesan Catechist Formation and Certification Course and to continue to update themselves through In-Service Teacher Enrichment programs and workshops.
